Church Hill Rotary members continue to stock the free food pantry at Peter Paul. The food pantry has been getting a lot of use this winter. Members also helped fill up the Little Library. The Rotary Club of Church Hill purchased many needed classroom items for schools in Church Hill. This week club members delivered school supplies to Franklin Military Academy and Henry Marsh Elementary School. The Rotary Club of Church Hill sponsored a family for Christmas and was able to provide presents for under the tree.

Volunteers helped support Peter Paul's Family and Community Engagement team in distributing hot meals, community support bags, and winter resources for the East End community yesterday. The team distributed in the parking lot of the new Boys & Girls Club of Metro Richmond. Over the weekend, Church Hill Rotary Members rang the bell at the Market at 25th for the Salvation Army.   

Church Hill Rotary Members made Holiday Cards for Hands-On of Greater Richmond. The cards will go to the staff and residents at CRi, Choice. Respect. independence. Formerly known as Community Residences, Inc., it is a community-based organization with a focused effort on providing people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs the resources, supports and services they need to live their lives with purpose, actively engaged in communities of their choosing. Club members helped deliver and assemble six beds on Nov. 23 with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - VA, Henrico Co. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that builds and delivers beds to children who do not have a bed. Their motto is: "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!"

On November 18, volunteers worked with Peter Paul RVA and their Family and Community Engagement team to distribute hot meals and community support bags to members of the Church Hill community.
